im going night fishin at lake monticello throwin a 16in worm and lake monticello is a grassy lake do yal have any suggestions of colors i could use

black, and put a rattle in it , or a bead on your line to make a clicking noise
also, a black spinnerbiat, with one single colorado blade
and finally a black jitterbug for top water

did I mention black?

he got ya rob.. lmao.. monty is a trophy lake you can't keep any bass from it is my understanding that means big old bass fer sure..

Ya zook thats my 11 year old son. He done got fired up as far as bass fishing and is trying to be like a sponge. He is soaking up as much as he can and I sent him here. Gonna take him to Monticello for a all nighter in 2 weeks. And you are correct about the trophy bass lake. Lots and Lots of 7lb plus fish have been caught with very good numbers of 10lb plus.

hey Bigbass10, when one of those Bucketmouths hit your topwater lure at night, try not to jump too much. Topwater fishing at night is some of the most fun you'll ever have!
