Default Need help

Having trouble trying to decide where and how to best mount my trolling motor?

After having that jon boat for so many years, i would guess you might feel a little over whelmed that boat keith. But i'm glad you like it.

Don't need one...just idle down one of the twin engines, other one off ;-o
Laugh if you will, but that's a boat to fish the great lakes or the ocean...and stay out there for days or weeks at a time. I'd LOVE that boat as long as somebody else was payin fer the fuel!

Keith,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't thin either Minn-Kota or Motorguide makes a 600 lb thrust trolling motor.

600lb thrust may be easy to find.. but getting it in a 8ft shaft length could be an issue... lol

Beleave it or not they make docking motors for that. Two side mounted thrusters could push it right nice..



And it has a remote..
