Last summer on the Susquehenna, Mike and I got SOAKED in the torrential rains. His poor feet were rubbed raw in fancy leather waterproof sandals. My feet, wet in my crocs and then dry and feeling good...in my crocs. Don't label them until you've tried them.
They don't look very good I'll admit. But damn comfy. Mine are tan by the way, not yellow. And I do have to listen to the gay comments EVERY TIME Mike sees them. |

those are so popular down here for people of all ages... I admit I have a dark green pair which I plan to wear when I go out in the canoe.
My main problem was finding a them in my size (14)... but the Outlet mall in Foley, AL has a Crocs store and they had my size and a pair that were not really as ugly as the rest Last edited by screwballl; 02-12-10 at 01:03 AM. |

I have a pair of Crocs flip flops and they are all I wear on my boat if the weather is even close enough to warm for me to stand it. All the years of sports are catching up with me and my knees kill me after a full day of standing on the deck of my boat, but when I wear my Croc flip flops my knees don't hurt a bit. They are the most comfortable thing I have ever put my feet in and I plan on buying a few more pairs.
The regular Crocs are ugly as sin though.

I've got a pair of wally world crocs in dark green.. they are comfortable, but I still don't like them. I either wear shoes or a pair of $4 wally world flip flops on the boat.

Do you know what the gayest thing of all is?
Caring what another man has on his feet. You know who you are.

Lol my thoughts exactly. Cabin Fever must really be hitting these guys pretty hard if they are resorting to talking about men's footware. Hopefully brighter days are ahead of us.

I'm pretty happy I finally found some sandals to wear in my boat this summer. Last year it would get so frigging hot, I would just go barefoot. Very comfortable, but I also have a bad habit of pitching discarded lures down on the deck in my haste and laziness. (I need to work on that regardless ) Treble hooks and bare feet are a match made in the Emergency Room.

Haha! I picked up a pair of Rider sandals on clearance a few months back. Really curious to find out if I can make it through the season without a hook in my foot.

When you wear Size 16's, you don't get to hear the word "clearance" very often.

I'm as country as they come.
I only own 1 pair of shoes other than my 3 pair of Georgia boots. I only own one pair of shorts. All the guys in the fishing club give me crap for fishing in 95 deg weather in blue jeans and boots.

I wear jeans and boots a lot too but there comes a point where I say screw that and it is shorts and flip flops. By the way that point is at about 75 degrees.
