Today I ordered an Abu Garcia Revo STX for myself for Christmas. I have the Revo S and love it. I can't wait to try the STX.

I know how you feel on the Merry CRISTmas to me, myself. I purchased a lowrance I finder HUNT C that my hot spot map chip fit in it and really showed detail for a hand GPS. So, if I am a coangler maybe it will come in handy if I am away from my LMS 522 C GPS on my boat. Oh and that Yamaha Big Bear 400 last week too. May go bankrupt next month but this one Santa was good don't ya know.

I got a little taste of Christmas early.....I managed to find my way over to Bass Pro shop while I was visiting relatives outta town this weekend and snagged a few goodies......one of which was an extreme series reel....it was a toss up with the KVD signature reel, and it was nice to actually get my hands on them and not just look at pictures....but the guy behind the counter said if it was him, he'd go with the extreme....I think the KVD was a better lookin reel by a country mile, but after reading alot of reviews and listening to folks on this forum I think I made a good choice for my money.

But that green might have to go....might have to paint my first baitcaster....hmmmmmm.

We know who's got the money , most of us are buying reels, rods or lures, WOODY buys a boat-a Skeeter w/a Yama on it. Nice rig and yes I would brag too. Congrats on your x-mas present.

i would not brag much about a owning a bug boat. the yamaha on the back is the best thing about it..

trust me a bug boat is at the top of my list of boats NOT worth owning..fact being i would refuse it if they gave one to me..

man those sound nice. we've (my dad and I) have been ordering AMAZING Ambassadors for dirt cheap... they're all older than me but have hardly any use on them, untill we got a hold of them. First bait casters i ever threw and the lasts one i ever will to. their the best reels in my book.
