Default Weekly Lake Fork Fishing Report

Well, the weather has been something else. The water temp is going up and down like a yo-yo, The fish are very skittish and scattered. The approaching front will set us back again as the night temps are going to be in the thirties. Cover plenty of water and work your baits slowly. The Wave crawdude has been a good pitching bait around beds and grass. The Lake fork Tackle ring fry and baby creature are working well weightless around timber and grass.
The crappie are making their way back to the bridges and small jigs and minnows are the best baits. Look for 25 foot of water
I still have a few days in May open if you want to book a trip call. May is a good month for top water and the fish will start getting into a pattern.
