Default Kistler---

As of 9/23 @ 03:00 hrs there is a Kistler Helium LTA 6'-6" MH on ebay, with about 40 hrs left on the bidding. Currently at $125 + $17 shipping. Rod is NEW, not one of the reconditioned ones that are on there all the time. Rod retails @ $229. If you can get it for under $170 you've done well. Check ebay often, sometimes you can get a good buy on a NEW rod. Most of the LTA's listed go around $180 on ebay - you may do as well with a dealer if you have one near you that handles Kistler. I would suggest staying away from any of the "reconditioned" Kistler rods that are listed. http://cgi.ebay.com/Kistler-Helium-L...QQcmdZViewItem

If I had any of these brittle rods, that break in a eyeblink, then I'd be more than happy to sell them to ya. But mine went right back to the dealer within 48 hours of purchase, to get a St Croix, and a G-Loomis.

if i were looking to spend $170 plus on a rod,it would defintily have to be a st.croix avid series. every thing i've heard about them is good,so thats where my money would go.
