I have a lowrance x15mt?

I have a lowrance x15mt and tried to use a navionics card on it and it seemed to be to updated for my x15. The navionics card was baught in 06 so is it just to updated for the my graph or am i doing somthing wrong?

Do you have the GPS antenna/puck mounted on the boat? The reason I ask is that I had a friend who bought the graph but never mounted or hooked up his GPS and he expected the navionics card to just start showing map details.

You need to hit menu button once or twice and then go to MMC files/card.

yeah i have a puck and it found my location it just didnt show and lakes or anything that the card is supposed to show.

Do you have the right card for the state you're in? In Michigan I believe it's:

Or

One of the Gold Series Chips with the appropriate number.

Did you figure out the Navionics yet?

I found my old card and the directions are as follows.

Go to the mapping screen and press menu twice

Scroll right until you see the Nav tab at the top

Scroll down to Chart Detail Level option; scroll right to choose All.

Scroll down to Map Borders; scroll right to choose Visible

scroll down to Spot Soundings option; scroll right to choose Visible. Push Exit.
