Default where to put it

after being a diehard trout fisherman for years, I tried bass fishing last year and was hooked. Bought myself a used Stratos boat that came with 2 lowrance fishfinders, x49 and x50. for Christmas my wife upgraded me with one Lowrance LCX-25c a unit with GPS that is leaps and bounds above my old ones. My question being where would I be best suited to mount the new one, either at the driver seat or up front at the trolling motor?

Welcome to the forum!

What Zooker said. Especially with the GPS the console is where I'd put it.

One of those things you wonder "how did I do this without one of these". Kinda like a nail gun for doing trim work.

Console for sure.

The GF tackled a small trim job over the W/E. "I've cut this board 3 times and it's STILL too short" Back to Home Depot. I kept my distance and never mentioned all of the ceiling tiles I messed up by cutting out the wrong part. She wasn't happy with the result and asked for help. I showed her a couple of things and she practiced on some scrap and ended up doing a very nice job.
