Default chigger craws for smallmouth

i have a pack of berkley powerbait chigger craws that i have been waiting to use. there is a slow moving part of the river where i catch smallmouth. i know they feed on crawfish. heres my question- can i use chigger craws for smallmouth? i mean i've only seen people use them for largemouth. i just wanted to know if anyone has had success using them for smallmouth or if they can be used for them?

thanks

3" or 4" Chigger craw would be excellent for smallmouth bass fishing. Any craw imitation should work. We've used the 4" Yamamoto spider jig for years and caught plenty of quality smallies wading the streams and rivers in VA.

Any crawfish imitator will usually entice a smallie.
