Its up to you, but every scale has a 2 ounce margin of error at least.

I would never tell you to lie. For real here, it really is in the margin of error.

You shouldn't keep big fish, take a picture of it and let it go

dude quit postin negitive crap..

if you caught a 10 lber from SC.. and never had fish anywhere else.. and your previous 2 PB's were 3.5 and 2.0 lbs.. i think a 10lber would be awesome.. and besides, i saw at least 40 fish schooling.. and he stocks the pond.. so theres like a million fish in there literally.. and the bass eat the bream that everyone wants to catch, but if i catch one record fish and turn the rest loose what differnce does it make..

and plus, your not even remotely close to this pond, know where it is and never will .. so mind your own and i can keep the fish i want..

oh yeah fishin.. check your PMS..

Thats an impressive fish ya caught there young fella....you should be proud of it and I don't blame ya a bit for wanting to mount it...i'd probably be the same way.

I must say that I have never heard anything about a bleeding bass won't heal??.....i've seen several bass with severe war wounds that must of been bleeding at some point and they healed.....so can someone clarify?

if im not mistaken, bass are the exact opposite of us...their wounds will clot only if there in the water....but wont clot if there out of water.
the fish would have lived though, as long as it wasnt too bad.

I was told by a taxidermist that you can keep a bass frozen almost endefinately, so don't worry too much....chances are he's just gonna stick it in his freezer till he's ready to start on it anyway....give him a call and see what he says.
