Default kentucky largemouth

i have my best luck fishin for bass with a texas rigged worm or lizard. My favorite type of worm is zoom. I also have luck with a a shallow diveing bomber crankbait. Another thing I have luck with is a large spinner bait. Jerk baits are ok in my lake I dont know how they work in other peoples lake or public lakes.

I seem to have my best luck fishing for bass when I'm depressed. No, seriously.

Doesn't matter, I haven't been fishing much lately. Why should I explain when JackL would love to elaborate for me?

I read this over about 7 times, I'm still confused.
But I'll go ahead and give it a try..........

Jerkbaits work great in a Lake near Lake Norman (but alot smaller than Norman, and still pretty big!)
called Mountain Island Lake. One of my favorite jerkbaits to use is the Bomber Regular Long "A":

Their always in Stock at Wal-Mart, I got one of them!

At least you picked a good color.
My theory on it is that if you can get it at walmart, the fish have seen it WAY to many times.

Show em something different.

I think you guys missed what I was talking about.

I haven't been fishing because I've been busy. Busy. The whole Jack thing was just a little joke.
Why would I bring a girl up on the fishing forum? ???

Anyways, to stay on the topic of fishing... get ready for those spinnerbaits and shallow diving crankbaits to become really good. Even a fast moving jerkbait! When your water level drops back into the 60's and down, fast lures like those will be great!

Tip: If you miss a strike on the spinnerbait or crankbait, quickly throw the jerkbait back out there where the strike was. I think sometimes the fish sees the jerkbait (imitating a wounded baitfish) and thinks it's the one it just attacked and injured... comes back for the kill/meal.
