Default Spinnerbait Rod?

What is your favorite length, action, reel ratio, and line for throwing spinnerbaits. Mine is a 6'6" Medium Action Rod, With a Quantum Baitcaster (6.2:1) ratio, spooled with 12lb. Trilene Big Game Line. What is Yours?

go with braid unless ur slow rolling. I've caught em in super clear water on braid. Why take the risk of losing a big un if you dont have to.

7' All Star MH- fast tip, 6-3 Rick Clunn reel, 20# PP. Also use 7' BPS Extreme MH, same reel, same line. I usually have 2-3 rigged w/ different colors or different blade types.

All right, no need to shout about it. Anyways, I removed "Berkley" from it so that you can sleep tonight.

6'6" MH St Croix Avid with a Fast tip, OR, 7' MH GLX G Loomis. Just depends on where I'm fishing it. Closer in to shore I prefer the 6'6", with longer casts, then the 7'.

It's all cool. I was wrong about the line. I understand what you meant there too. My response was supposed to be witty and sarcastic, a tone that's difficult to type. Anyways, we're cool.

the problem with that is that mono acts like a shock absorber with its stretch,as braid,on the other hand, has little to no stretch which takes away the absorbing capabilities.i think someone has mentioned this before, although who i am not sure.

Cool

I like a Med 6 ft rod and a Quantum CX with 12 lb silver thread, or Trilene Xt, Low-Vis Green.
