Default New member here

A new 30-something member from Northwest Florida here... I am a computer tech by trade and try to go fishing, usually for pretty much anything that bites... except these dumb mid to late summer turtles that always take my hot dog bait...

Welcome to the forum! There is a great group of folks around here. Granted, we are all a little crazy but I figure that is normal for people who fish.

yes, about an hour east of Pensacola... I try to get as much fishing on the Eglin Reservation ponds when I get a chance (and the wife lets me)
Even if it is just stepping away and going up the road to toss a line in
Many times I can be found at 30.559514, -86.511727

Hahahahaah, you have GOT to be a armed forces guys with the lat and long. Cool though. We used to live about 45 min west of you in alabama. Don't know much about the fishing in fl, but i fished.......ummmm let me redo that........i TIRED to fish the mobile delta. Hard to fish tidal waters in my opion. Ol captmike and flbassman can probably help oyu out alot. Again, welcome and hope you enjoy it here.

no not armed forces, just playing around with google earth and the mood to use it... and in my case I prefer freshwater fishing... much more relaxing and more trees to give you shade
