Default barrometric pressure

hey guys,
i hear alot of you saying you will only fish during certain moon phases and during certain air pressures, can anyone explain the concept to this type of fishing techniques. and does it matter during these times.

just go fish.they won't postpone a tourney if the barometer is rising...and if you are fishing and the barometer starts rising,will you leave and go home to mow the lawn?i don't think so.i never let a barometer tell me when to fish,,,,,that's my wife's job..lol

I never pay attention to any of this stuff. But i seem to catch more when its windy and cloudy. ;D

Do your chores whenever you think the fish are least likely to bite! Gotta do them anyways, so pick a good time!

Barometric pressure mostly signifies the weather pattern. I'm not so sure the fish actually respond to the pressure itself as much as the actual weather it signifies.

A quickly dropping barometer often means rain shower.

A rising one means hot sunny weather.

Steady usually means it will change sometime later.
