Default Bass Fishing in Philadelphia?

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of bass fishing in Philadelphia but really the only two places I fish are the Schuylkill River and FDR park. Do any of you guys know any good bass spots within 20 minutes or so of University City?

Boat, or shore bound? If you've got a boat(electric only) Marsh creek is a quick drive from the city, and there are plenty more, plus there is always tidal "Big D".

I fish Marsh Creek too and it's designated a Big Bass Lake (15" minimum). Big muskie (both tiger and pure strain) are also in there along with good bass and bluegill/perch/crappie for those that like panfish. The lake is easy to get to via the PA Turnpike from Phila in about an hour. Also if you have a boat, about an hour away on southbound I-95 you have access to the upper Chesapeake Bay, great bass fishing in the Northeast River & Susquehanna Rivier for bass (smallies in the Susky) and great catch & release striper fishing on the flats in March/April.

I actually don't have a boat but I've fished a few tourneys as a co angler on the northeast river and it is a beautiful bass fishery. A 10 lb bass was taken out of it only a week ago.
