Default good line for baicasters?

ive been fishin baitcasters for about 3 years now but i have yet to find a type of line that is good forbaitcasters. Ive had sum that work better on backlashes than others. But is there really a line that works best with baitcasters? if so, wut is it?

I think backlashes are just a nature of the beast. How many? That comes w/ use and knowing the limits of your reel. I use Power Pro on all mine. Have begun to put a piece of electrical tape about 50-60 yards into my spool. This way when the braid digs it only goes so far. Can't take credit for that idea though, learned it here.

i got a baitcaster 2 months ago and started fishing it a coulpe weeks ago. I backlashed all the other lines i used. I bought the suffix elite in 12 lb and it hasn't broken once. I've gotten it wrapped around sunken logs and it pulled the log out instad of breaking! Everytime i backlash it is very easy to pick as well.

I like Yozuri Hybrid, on my reels, but it's not always the line causing those backlashes.. You do have to adjust the spool tension (knob usually found on the same side as, and behind the handle), and internal brakes - if your reels have them and most do (located inside the side plate, opposite the handle) and finally the reels with an external magnetic brake adjustment - that needs to be set also. You may have to tune one, or all of the above, when you change baits depending upon how good the freespool is on your reel, and casting conditions. All those, in conjunction with your thumb and some practice will eliminate most of your backlashes - unless you continually attempt to cast into a fairly stong wind.
