Default Summer Time baits

Summer is summer whether you're on the east coast, west coast or somewhere in between. What type of artificials do you guys use where you live. I know bass are bass but I believe regions do alter feeding habits.
Out here we often look for deep water haunts where they hang out and crank them, or some sort of plastic.

A range of soft plastics mostly weightless, and spinnerbaits.I have yet to catch a bass on a crankbait (havnt had the confidence to throw it) But i used it at night and caught a 3 and a half foot plus gar, had a little 6 inch bass follow also.

Thats pretty much my tactics also. I throw a crankbait more than any other in the summer.

Low light conditions= TOPWATER
middle of the day=slow falling, wieghtless plastics(Lizards/Flukes)
Night time=Topwater, or big plastics, or Black Spinnerbaits, I prefer Jitterbugs at night

Lizards

For some stupid reason the bass like jig heads with a twister tail any color any type, I have a bass lake up here "non stocked" thay pulls fish any time of the day any condition it's nuts wish some of you guy's and gal could come fish it. I know it sound's like horse CHIT but man the lake has never been fished before I came there.

I even caught bass trolling my biggest fish there was caught trolling 8.9 pounds.

Soft plastics silver or gold bladed spinners, buzzbaits. Even though my fat frog is strongly becoming an all around performer.

normally i would say deep cranking but they just would not hit any thing so c-rig very slowly the bass liked the big baits this summer here any thing 10-14 inches long.

This is a superfluke, I'd definitely get some green pumpkin superflukes and some avocado red tail superflukes. Â*ANy bait that looks like this is called a soft jerkbait, but often people will call just everything that looks like this a superfluke. Â*What lake in winter park do ya live on?
