gummy worms?
My brother in law told me he had a secret weapon to winning out little tourney last year. Said he had a bait that you could eat and the bass loved it. Wouldn't tell what it was until the day before the tourney. It was gummy worms! Also said the sour ones worked best.
Ok why, said when in the water they get slimey and the fish hold on and longer and like the diff. taste, or smell. Well dont know if they work because no one had a keeper that day. Anyone try or here of this? My buddie tried it but the thing kept falling off when casting. ( then again he doesn't cast soft ever!) |

I have tried it as a trailer just for the heck of it. I have gotten hits, but they did not hold on like they would with a real scented worm.

Maybe fish like the taste of beer? Try soaking your bait in it and see if they hang on for more. Maybe they will be like "man Im good, just one more"

Never leave home without a bag of gummy worms, Coke + Doritos/pork rinds + Twinkies + gummy worms = complete nutritional value for the weekend warrior.

I take Smoked flavored Vienna's, Pimento Cheese sandwhich, jerky, sometimes a candy bar. To drink I always take one water, and a couple of Gatorades or Poweraids...

Pickled quail eggs serve two main purposes Bama:
1.- You can use them as catfish bait when the bass ainīt bitin. 2.- You can always eat them if the catfish ainīt bitin and you just ran out of pork rinds. |

raul....i don't EVER catfish buddy. hate the THOUGHT of catfishing. only fish i go for are #1, BASS, #2, bream (flyrod), #3, crappie. that's it. now IF a catfish happens to get caught, i unhook it and throw it back in. now i know that some are gonna say, "bama, you mean to tell us you'll throw back a cat, but kill a bass to eat?" yes, i will gang, sorry....i hate the taste of catfish, too fishy for me. bass is light, white and very good. so is crappie. i'll catch bream, but rarely eat it either, too strong as well for me. but if anyone wants cafish that i catch, or bream, i'll keep em for ya'l. but ya'll gotta clean it and EAT it.
and as for the boiled eggs.....NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!! |
