I forgot a couple, these aren't new but new to me. I plan to use the 4" Big Hammer Tails as swim jig trailers on the 1/2oz Warbaits Slayer Swim Jigs and 5" Big Hammers on the Warbaits Jig Heads as swim baits. I already have them, just need to use them.

Joe Under what circumstances (where/when) would you feel good about throwing one of those big swim jigs, as opposed to say a ____________?
Not a hijack 3D just a quick diversion

I plan to use the big, heavier swim jigs when I want to slow roll a bait on the bottom, usually in deeper water. Sometimes I like to fish a swim jig like I would a large swimbait, near the bottom, where I can let it sit, bump any cover and basically just hug the bottom contours. I probaby wouldn't use it for "regular" swim jigging, I have plenty of other jigs for that.

Also, the jigs I have are ˝oz, the one in the picture is probably 1oz. The ˝oz jigs really aren't much larger than a regular sized swim jig, they just have a different head shape. The Warbaits swim jigs were originally designed for saltwater, Calico Bass fishing on the west coast.

Thanks for sharing. Giving me some ideas but no "Hot" baits.

The Stanford crankbaits have been around for a while. Good baits. They make a flat sided shallow runner with foil sides (like the old Rapala's). Sweet looking and running bait. I use it sparingly because it's the only one I have and don't want to lose it....

Well at 26 its not cheap but considering topwater plugs are pretty hard to lose and the fact that it does something fish have never seen a plug do before, makes it a contender for hotness. Of course like you I'm always looking for something really hot and different at that majic 2 dollar price point. Just seem hard to find.

They just need to make a larger version...I know that what Jrob was talking about has peeked my interest, I was just discussing Big Hammer swimbaits on another site, and was just going to purchase their jig heads, but those Warbaits look like a better idea, Thanks.
