Default fishinf in saint john new brunswick canada

well im goin fishing tmorrow at 6am and everytime i go fishin for bass i cant semm to set the hook y is that? ???

Once you detect a hit, reel down towards the water to take the slack out of your line, then pull your rod tip straight back as hard as you can..that should do the job, unless you are experiencing a small bait fish nibbling on you bait

sharp hooks and like JB mentioned, get that line tight before setting the hook.
