Default CB's Hawg Sauce

I was looking at the site after reading about the stuff on here. I have never used scent but am going to try it this year. I assumed the spray would be the way to go.

Is that right? He also sells a flip-top bottle and a jar (for dipping i suppose).

What is the easiest way to use?

Also, he had a new scent called Bass Honey. Anyone here tried that yet? I'm definately going to try the garlic and possibly the Bass Honey.

With the garlic, do you use the water or oil base?

Thanks guys.

Aaron

we use the spray "Bang" garlic scent....and we use smelly jelly which is a jelly you put on with your firngers....and then there's carolina lunker sauce that's a semi liquid with alot of texture in it....they are all more or less oil based to stick to the baits.....

I carry 2 bottles of sauce but usually forget to apply it! I rely on the salt in most baits I use to tell ya the truth. The lunker sauce does work tho IMO

I use the spray but its personal preference though. My dad has the gel and swears by it.....he did his own little experiment through the ice this year with his finder. He could see the panfish come up and check out the jig for about the 1st hour he was there....started applying the sauce and within an hour he had 50+ panfish on the ice. With a new (clean) jig they wouldn't mess with it....he only landed a few in that first hour (less than 12).

I use the water based garlic.....i think it works great. I can usually smell the scent as soon as I pull it up out of the water even after 5-10 casts. Its pretty strong and she works!!!

Dont forget to use the link in the sig below to save a buck! Get back to me if you try it and let me know what you think.

I too have the Hawg Sauce gel in a jar. Just don't spill it anywhere!
