How to work the Tiki Lobster

yes, the 7 inch tiki-lobster. I have one, and want to try it out. Not to sure, what species will hit this thing it is pretty damned big. How would you work it. Also, I have a Tiki Anaconda, the 7 inch snake, and was wondering if that would work this time of the year on big bass.

I'd T-rig it lile you would a worm or a creature bait.

I was thinking of trying it on Hybrid Stripers in Spruce. I also got about 10 bags of dipsticks for free from Wave Industries.

Once you get a bite or 2 on it, take it off and cut a bout 2 inches of the tail off and use it as a jig trailer.The bait does look good, I will have to get some for next year.Thank you Powerbass. Well I sent ordered from the site, dang it Powerbass, I knew it would happen, just thought I could fight the urge, but the Bamboo sticks really are a super bait,thanks to IL. Bassin, I caught the fever on those baits, so these might work as well.I had to buy a pack of the tiki tubes to look at them as well.singing the tiki blues lyrics "I owe, I owe, its off to work I go." hybrids rarley if ever feed on craw fish. if the lake is full of hybrids go with chicken livers. take my word for it they feed chicken livers to hybrid's in hatchey's when they are fry. these fish remember that smell/taste and will readliy eat it..

Powerbass, I got my Tiki Lobsters today and all I can say is Holy sh!t !!! After seeing the mass of the bait, I don't know,its bigger than I would have thought a bass bait would be. I currently don't have a big enough hook, I will be finding a hook for them so I will keep you posted.The Owner 7/0 oversized worm hook is close but I don't think its quite big enough to get a solid hookset through the body every time.Yes I will fish them, won't look for alot of bites , but the ones you will get on it will be worthy of getting a picture before releasing. Lizards, I think they are best used as a joke for weigh ins. They are a huge chunk of plastic in the shape of a craw but at a small lobster size. Measuring the body girth, it is 3" in diameter and is 7 3/8 " long.P N J

Hey guys/gals im new to the Site and this is my first post.. Im new to the whole bass fishing touny stuff but love it so far. I live in East Texas and work really close to Lake fork. I have always enjoyed bass fishing but usually just fished ponds now im hooked on The lakes and tournys. Anyway to my question I have stacked up a small stack of these Tiki Lobsters and really like the way they look.. Just wondering if anyone has hand any success using them? And what size Hook did you decide was best for them. I just ordered some 7/0 beast hooks from Gama g.. Thanks for any input!!

I haven't fished them much but have caught a few on the burned bacon color. I mainly use them as jig trailers, but they will also work on a shakey head.

I graduated from A&M in 01' with a degree in Poultry Science. Then I Started a poultry farm when I moved back home along with a few cattle etc.. named the Poultry Farm Aggieland Poultry guess it just sticks with ya..

So you have had some success using the Lobsters. Glad to hear someone has given them a try and caught a few..

Excellent, I had ordered a dozen or so packs of the lobsters from that site you posted just a few hours before I joined on here.. If I knew they would catch fish I considered ordering a few more..

I know this is hard to fathom, those big crawworms really do catch bass on lake Fork. I have seen a 9" crawfish caught by someone at Lake Fork. They took pictures and posted it on the Texas Fishing Forum a few years ago and sucker was huge. The color was black with blood red pinchers.
