Default South Eastern Iowa report

Fishing is fair, but fish are panfish are very small in most places very easy to catch on a simple bobber and live worm rig. bass fishing is fair in most places with some very large bass being caught in farm ponds. including an eight pound large mouth caught at nishna bend recreation area. carp are fairly aggresive and cats are slow for now.

well ive been here before on a different name forever ago but then i left now im back. but anyways fishing is gona be harsh this year in iowa i got a feeling, cuz we didnt get much snow and thats what puts the water level up. so lakes and pond might not have enough water in them this year. i hope its enough to keep the oxgen levels high enough to substain the fish cuz ive seen massive fish kills before for that reason and alot of good fish die.
