Default Weekly Lake Fork Fishing Report

Well, the fishing is really going good. The recent cool weather has got the bass schooling. The mornings are spent with just about anything you want to throw. Top water, weightless Wave Tiki sticks, Lake Fork Tackle ZigZags. Wacky worms, buzz baits, and spinner baits. When the fish are up lipless crank baits will be the best bait to throw. The grass is still getting thick and this is setting the stage for the fall fishing. The humps and main lake points are producing fish with Texas and Carolina rigs. The rain will help cool the water down and will help the top water bite. The crappie are getting bigger on a regular basis when you go out. The bridges and timber with jigs and minnows will get you some keepers.
