Default LOWRANCE HDS-7 and HDS-5 Question

Hey everyone, I put a down payment down on a Nitro Z7 the other day and I am having them put a Lowrance HDS-7 with the Sonar Imaging Bundle into the Console. I’m also having them put a HDS-5 in the Bow (flush mount) and I’m wondering if the HDS-5 can network into the Structure Scan that the Lowrance will be hooked up to so they’re seeing the same thing?

Thanks in Advance

They can but I beleive you need to purchase the Ethernet Module which runs like 1200$.

Yes you can via the 'blackbox' ethernet connection.

@bamabassman - Will do, I should have it in about 2 weeks, possibly three. I got this reply from the boat guys, so it's being networked.

IN ORDER TO NETWORK YOUR GPS SYSTEM, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE AN ETHERNET CABLE AND A NMEA NETWORK STARTER KIT.THIS WILL ADD ANOTHER $121.90 TO YOUR INVOICE.

Man I can't wait!
