Default Drop Shotting technique

I know that this a bass board, but i found a really cool dropshot rig that is mainly for trout but will work on bass.

Use a 3 way swivel, take 10-16 inches of line and put a 1/2 oz drop shot weight then take a spoon, like a dardevle or a little cleo and tie it so it looks like a drop shot rig. Deadstick it for 10-10 minutes and the repeat. Works great in round valley resivoir.
