Default Fishing a sunken dock...

Im going down to a cottage for a week. My dad's friend told him that right near the cottage, there is a sunken dock that is loaded with fish. Im guessing the water's around 8-15 ft deep, maybe shallower. The water is brownish, with limited visibility. How would you fish structure like this? I was thinking about using cranks and bouncing them off the dock but i dont know how much vegetation is around it.
