Default Flippin' combos

What is a good combo for flippin' and pitchin' that isn't extremely expensive. I don't wanna spend more than $150. I'm looking for a good combo for this season.

OK..now you are gonna get a lot of responses here. So take them all get the set up you like the best.
I have a wally world bought abu garcia promax set on a wally world bought lighting rod. Rod is s 7 footer heavy action. Reel cost 80 bucks, rod around 32 bucks. I then spooled somesuffix 50#braid on it. Line cost 20 bucks for 150 yds. I used some really cheap mono for backing.
So....lets add this up and we come to well under 150 dollars. Now you got a few bucks to buy those jigs and worms to use while flipping and pitching.

I use a quantum kvd reel I bought on sale for 50 bucks, it is 7.1 with a flippin switch. My rod is a 7'6 all star rod I picked up on sale for around 50 bucks. I have bps 17 lbs flouro line. Complete set up around 120 dollars.

If you have a bass pro or cabela's near you go pick up one of thier rods for about 20-40 bucks buy a quantum accurist for about 80 bucks and what ever line fits best for the area, cover, and water clarity in your neck of the woods.

Combo under 150?

Cabelas alway has some nice combo, and some good sales sometimes too if you keep your eyes open. Basspro sometimes has 'em, but they don't have a lot of combos around that price range.

Check these out.

If you can spend 10 bucks more, check this out.

Here's the same price at BPS for a BPS combo, I think the rods better here, but not the reel, but this has a flippin' switch.

I've used cabalas rods before and love them, but I've never used a prodigy, but it looks like a nice stick for sure! I've got a buddy that uses an extreme rod and he loves it, he says its extremely sensitive.

I think you'll better much be good with any of 'em there, if it was me (and I had ten bucks extra) I've get the BPS extreme combo though.

Tbone, for flipping, I prefer a 7'6" or longer rod, but for pitching I prefer a 7'. If I was to do both on the same rod, I'd take the longer.

That being said, I'd check out the 7'6" MH or 7'6" H Abu Garcia Vendetta ($90) with an Abu Garcia Orra SX ($100). It would put you a bit over your budget, but provide a nice combo. And what's another month of saving money.
