You made a wise choice my friend! When you get out on the lake and see the action this bait has you will fall in love with it. One thing I love about this bait is it's almost impossible to fish it wrong. My favorite way to fish it is to throw it right on top of a submerged tree and jerk it back being careful not to let it get to deep and hang on the limbs of tree, the bass literally fight for the first strike, so get ready for some insane action!

Funny you should mention rogues Zooker. I was at Gander Mtn. tonight and saw the Van Dam style and the regular suspending rogues. I decided on the regular suspending. It has silver sides a white belly and a blue back. I also picked up some of the new style Sizmic Pop-N-Toads. I got white and pond scum colors. I hope they do better for me that the regular Sizmic toads did. Earlier today my sister let me pick out a few lures for my up coming birthday.I got 2 bandit series 200's, a Cotton Cordell Grappler Shad, a Rapala DT-6, an ExcaliburPop'N Image and a Booyah 3/8oz. tandum spinnerbait. The weather is turning bad again here so I have to wait again till it gets better to try out all these new lures.

tossed the rogue today-hell nothing else was really working- caught the grand total of nothing on the rogue.found out why i prefure the x-raps over the rogue's #1 rogues are light -to dam light-and casting a light bait in to the 20+ mph wind resulted in putting a reel out of service.-can you say buzzard nest-#2they worked ok but sumersualt when jerk REAL hard. made more for light twitchin then jerking. i can rip an x-rap as hard and as fast as it can done with a 6.2 reel. not to mention the x-rap cast like a bullet.. i may use the rogue when it gets cold but prefure the x-rap hands down..

Saw In-fisherman yesterday morning, It was Doug Stange and another guy, Stange was using a Husky Jerk; they were fishing for smallies. The other guy was using the X-Rap. Doug explained the baits were more similar than different, even their movement was similar except the HuskyJerk had a much more subtle action to it. Husky Jerk caught more, but smaller fish. The X-rap didn't get a too many fewer bites and the fish were a lot bigger that were taking it. One thing Dout showed, to get a more erradic/ intense action out of a Husk Jerk, he Pinches the line tie down to be more oblong, and removes the split ring and uses a quick connect snap on it (no Swivel).
