Default Long time no see!

Well as the title states, It has indeed been a while...
I'm not even sure if anyone I used to converse with on here is still around.
But, either way... Whats everyone up to?!

Fishing and learning.

Hey from your screen name I gather your very talented photographer.

If you get a chance would you share some pics with us here?

Oh a lot of the 'crowd' went to some other site but many still visit here.

Hey, welcome back, MrP! I remember very well the thread about your 9-15 LM a few years back. I just got back from a week up at our cabin on the lake with my parents, siblings and their kids. There was a lot of fishing done from our boat! What's new with you these days?

I can't say welcome back, since I don't think I was here when you left. But welcome to the site. It's a little slower than before ... and if you look at some of the threads, you'll see links to the site they went to.
Some of us are just too hard headed to leave this one.

Didnt get to finish my post last night before getting out of here. I'm on graveyard shift at the moment so I sleep most of the day.

Everythings going fairly well though. Im a green suiter up at Fort Bragg these days. I'm just a couple hours up the road from my hometown so its just home away from home. I think I want to go to Colorado next...

Sadly I havent been licenced to fish since 2012. Being on the move I just never forked the money for a certain state. I've lived in SC, OK, TX, and NC in the last 2 years. But, I'm here for at least another year... and the new female prospect asked me if we could go fishing

ding dong, go get your fishing licence. lol Last year was still "new" for me being here and I didnt do much of anything. Im settled in now, so I'm intending on hunting/fishing this fall/spring. I havent done TOO much photography recently, mainly car things. I started up a GTO club for those of us who own 04-06 GTO's here. I personally own two of them now. But, Just lettin the women chase at my coattail, and whatever comes to mind is what ive been doing! I'll post some random photos today/tomorrow sometime. I'm off at 0700 until saturday night. whew.

Nice pics.
Most active military are not requiired in most states to purchase a license, and a great many bases or reserves like fort cambell have plenty of fishing on them

I believe MOST States require military to purchase licenses, but they offer them at "resident" prices without actual residency.
You are correct about bases having fishing ponds, etc. on them ... but most of them also require a special permit to fish them. Most of the bases I was on required a State license and a 2 to 5 dollar base permit.

I cant wait to get outta work tonight and post the pics of my newly tinted headlights and fog lights. DEFINITELY changed the look of the car. I dont even know what to say other than OMG. Definitely completes the look.

You do have to be licenced here as far as I know, And there is some kind of on post outdoorsman thing. I'm going to look into it over the next couple weeks to try and hang a big buck here. One of my former NCO's has harvested quite a few. I hear its a hassle and waiting list for stands and areas, but for a nice 8+ on the wall, it'd be worth it.

Im not even interested in hunting until rut period anyway, less skeeters.

1/4 stick, take me out on a lake somewhere! lol I had a high school friend recently graduate from Methodist U, but I spent some time out there last fall. I spend most of my time in Raeford with friends. Got any hookups on mountain cabins? Im thinking about hitting Mt Mitchell the weekend after labor day. That, or the outerbanks.

Bud the last decent place I had to go fishing was a farm pond/lake up the road and the family cut the fishing off when the owner died. Last time I tried to talk to his family about it, I offered the same deal I had with him. Help keep it clean and help with whatever they needed to maintain the place, including cutting grass clearing any brush or anything before it got over grown... etc. I was told they'd shoot anybody caught on the property. Amazing how somebody as kind and sweet as that old man was could be related to such ornery people. There's a few places like lake rim over toward Raford, and the lake that Waldo's beach is on but I haven't fished them in years. Between taking care of my mama and going to school, I aint got out to do much fishing at all in a couple years. Lmao... I aint never had no connections to mountain cabins.. they know I'd never leave. lmao

Hey, welcome back! Good to see you in here again. Sounds like life has been on the hectic side for you. Just waiting for the spring thaw here. Got a bunch of Nu-Tech jigs the other day and chomping at the bit to see if these things perform like so many in here say they do.
