Default ? about using Power Pro fishing line

When using this line do you use a monofilament leader for less visibility when fishing crankbaits and plastics?

I recently switched to this line and like it a lot but I've noticed that I'm not catching as many fish with it so I was wondering if it's because the line has a higher visibility compared to Monofilament line.

I never use a leader with PowerPro. I don't know how clear the water is where you are, but even in the clear water of Amistad I don't use it. If you have crystal clear water, you might want to try a leader.

Cranks I don't fish on braid simply because I want the line to have some stretch, so I use mono-or rather fluoro coated mono-in P-Line floroclear. I probably would use a leader with a crank if I used braid.

Plastics-you can use a leader if you so choose. Flyrod uses one religiously. I sometimes do and sometimes don't. It just depends on how the moode strikes me.

I fish very clear water so I never like to just throw braid without a leader. I mostly use braid when I carolina rig. For worming, instead of a mono leader, use fluorocarbon.

If you feel you are getting less bites, then put on a leader. It's all about confidence. I don't use leaders, and I use Braid for about everything. I however do have confidence in it no matter what the conditions/techniques are.

I only use braid for going in/on top of lily pads and other slop. I might occasionally also use it with a Carolina rig. I use mono on cranks and fluorocarbon fo rworming and finesse-fishing.

I have to agree w/ the Doc on this one but, I do use it with anything t, c, or wacky rigged so I can feel the bites better. When doing this I always use a mono or flouro leader just to be on the visibility safe side. It's not hard and it can't hurt to tie one on. Just make sure you know how to tie a j-knot or have a barrel swivel handy.

I don't use PP, but I do use braided, I also noticed my catch rate fell when I switched from mono, so I tried a Mono leader after I got used to the sensitivity of the braid, it cut it waaaay down! now, if I use a leader, I use Floro cause its more sensitive.
