Default Flick Shake

The Senko thread and the wacky rig discussion triggered this thought. I don't know if many of you have tried this bait or not, but for fishing a wacky rig bait this really blows them all away.

It is a finesse worm, but it has a slight kink in it in the tail that for whatever reason catches a ton of fish. It is fished on a weighted jighead and just flat catches fish. When the conditions are tough and the bite is slow this is my go-to bait. I have yet to get skunked throwing this bait. If you haven't tried it do yourself a favor and try it.

I get them at Cabela's-they are a little hard to find for some reason. Maybe that is not a bad thing-not everyone uses them It is the only bait my father-in-law likes to throw. We had a day last spring where we put 30-35 fish in the boat and lost 10-15 more. The biggest was around 5-my FIL caught it-and he lost one at the boat that would have gone at least 8.

This is one fish-catching bait.
