Question Trailer Issues

Has anyone encountered any problems with unusual tire wear on "Tracker" trailiers. When this trailer was less than 1 year old the inside edge was totally gone on both tires. The place that sold it replaced the axel and both tires. I have just noticed that the outside edge is now wearing with less than a full season of use.

The alignment of the trailer is off. I have used alignment shims to correct this on trailers in the past just like you would do on a car. If it is too severe you would have to heat and bend the axle. It could also be the axle is not straight. Either way I would recommend a professional.

IT IS A PROBLEM!! I have an '08 Triton and I'm having issues with my tires as well. What type of tires are on it? I have Carlisle's. I sent pictures to my dealer and they are taking care of it. He (the service manager) did say that he was having issues with Tracker trailer tires as well. I would contact your dealer as it should be a warranty issue with the tire mfg.

MIbasser;

These are "Tracker Marine" tires on the trailer.

Thanks for the info

Seems trailer tires are not as good as they used to be ten years ago. I eat two tires a year out of 6 on my trailers.

I think the quality is very poor.
