Post spawn help
I know that a lot of northern guys are waiting for the season to get underway, but down here most of our lakes are in post-spawn.
Historically, the first month after the spawn is a bad fishing time for me. I have a tourney on Saturday. I did not get to prefish it due to Easter. The water is dirty with 4-6 inches of visibility. The lake has gone up 19 feet since the first of the year and there is a lot of rocks and submerged trees. In texts with C-Rig, we have discussed jigs ( go figure), spinnerbaits, cranks, and top water on the spawning flats and their edges. I will likely have the DS tied on as well but am looking for suggestions.
