HOOSIER,
Why not pick up a used motorcycle helmet with a full face shield at a garage sale or on e-bay for around 20 bucks?

They look sorta like a paintball mask,Im with jackl if you want to protect your skull a helmet would be a better choice. Not nearly as cool though 8)

Look on page 20 of your Bassmasters magazine. It is a face mask to be worn when running the big motor . As JackL mentioned, I have been wearing a Fullmer Full face motorcycle helmet for a few years now. They work really well ,make sure you r helmet has vents that you can open or close if needed, or else it could fog up on you while running long distances. P N J

Next time you're on the interstate in a rain storm put on some sunglasses then stick you're head out the window ;D It hurts like heck. Theyre also pretty nice when it's cold out. Not to mention if you get ejected from the boat.

The Fish Hedz was designed by a friend of one of the members of my bass club. My last tourney at the Delta here in California, I wore the mask. It was raining like the devil and the mask worked like a dream. It doesn't fog up because of the anti-fog coating on the lenses and the mask weighs considerably less than a motorcycle helmet.

Bassfisher02, If the rain down there wasn't enough to get your attention, then come up to NY state when there is sleet or freezing rain and the air temp is 20-30 degrees(usually less than that on morning runs)Thats without the windchill factor.I hate to mention hail storms, I only got caught in them twice out fishing but ,that is enough to remember for a lifetime. ;D P N J

ya, i was caught in a huge downpour the other day in the boat. i had my hat on and put my hood on and buttoned the buttons all the way up. but it was still bad, glad it wasnt 20-30 degrees tho, it was more like 70-80. i see the point now.
