Zoom Super Hog & Tiki Stick

What is the most profitable way of hooking either of these plastics?

I usually hook the Tiki Texas Rigged... Is there a better way to rig it, or should I just experiment at the places I fish?

Name some other ways of rigging.. ex wacky, carolina. If there are other ways name them so I can look them up because these are the only three im used to.

Haven't used the super hog but rig the brush hog T-rig. For Tikis I either T-rig or Wacky rig.

yeah, T-Rig is the texas rig, but theres texposed(the hook point is out of the plastic) and the normal T-Rig which takes the hook point and puts it back just under the plastic.

I really like the action I get with a nose hooked Tiki Stik. I get a really erratic movement when I twitch or pull, and the bait almost swims backward after letting the line go slack again. I don't know if it does this on my T-Rig because if I'm fishing that, its usually in places I can't see the stik. You may get the same action with both methods.

I nosehook my tiki's about a quarter of an inch down the fat side, or however far it is to keep the end of the bait below the hook point.

I would try and see what the fish want. If you go with someone else one of you use a wacky rig and the other use a t-rig.................

i like florida rigs too. basically the same thing as a texas rig but the bullet weight screws into the bait

i should have mentioned I mainly fish my Tiki's weightless.

Try fishin your hogs with no weight and see what THAT gets ya. Let me know if you get the same results as I do. Yes its slow fishin but the rewards are GREAT.

I cant beleive I'm letting the cat outta the bag but what the h#@! Fish em t-rig with no weight around the thickest cover you can find without NO weight other than a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hook. Fish it as though you would a spook but at a SLOW pace. Pop it one way let it flutter down and then pop it the other way etc..etc..all the way back to the boat. YES it is agoniznly slow but the rewards can be worth it. I have caught numerous big fish right at the boat using this method as well as good quality tourney fish. Just a little trick we use down here when they arent real aggresive and chasing lures but still hungry enough to eat.
