I like them on a scrounger jig head or as a swim jig trailer.

I'm using them as a swim jig trailer.

does the scrounger jig head make a good search bait? what color would you suggest for stained water.i'm fishing a flood controled resivour,no weeds, just rock, gravel and some sand.

A pearl white swimming fluke with a weighted hook near vegetation is just deadly.

Scrounger head gives them a very cool wobble, and increases the action that the bait already has. In stained water I would use colors that are darker, like watermelon red flake, and watermelon seed.

Same as the skinny dipper. I tx rig em and either work them like a worm, swim em, hop em through the salad. You can run them weightless on top, even c-rig them too. I like em best on a 4/0 with a 3/16 oz.

I'm pretty sure they don't offer either color in the Swimmin Fluke.

Thumbs up Swimming Fluke

A must for fishing lakes with grass....use a weighted (1/8 to 1/4) swim bait hook with a spiral scre-on keeper on front and fish just over the grass beds...Monsters will come up out of grass and eat your swimming fluke or
fish on a weightless hook and buzz across the top and drop in holes in grass or pads...this also works if yu use a 1/8 screw in bullet sinker screwed into the head of the swimming fluke....the bullet serves 2 purposes...1st keeps weeds & debris off your fluke and 2nd when yu stop
yur retreive it helps the fluke to sink in the holes in the grass or pads...
Here in Florida this method works best from late November to early May..
