Default 1st FOM tourney of 09

What a tough deal. My buddy and I practiced on Friday and it snowed, rained, and sleeted the entire day. It was absolutely miserable. We only caught 1 fish the entire day. For the tourney we decided to fish a place where we caught a 4 lber the week before. At 7:00 I catch our first fish on a jerkbait. At 8:00 I caught the second fish on a jerkbait. After a while with no action we started running different spots with no luck. Around 1:00 we went back to the area where we caught the 2 fish. A little later my buddy catches keeper #3 on a jerkbait and shortly after that I caught #4 on a jerkbait. That would be all we could do. It was cold and raining most of the day and I was happy we caught what we did. We ended up with 6.44 lbs. and finished 27th out of 76 teams. Only 11 limits were weighed and the winning team had 16+ lbs. Hopefully we will have better luck in the next one!!!

Wasn't yesterday just a beautiful day to be on the water?

I stopped by the ramp on my way home at 5:30 PM and they were just starting to hand out the checks.

Looks like you had a better day than we did.

A bad day fishin is always better than a good day at work. And even though you didn't win the tourney, doesn't sound like the fishin was all that bad.
Just remember, you could live in Michigan, waiting for the ice to melt

Lake Anna which is a lake built by Dom. Resources to cool the nuclear reactor. That's why there's a hot side and cold side.
