Default Weight to Length Ratio

Does anyone have a table with average weights of bass for the length.

EX:
A 20" bass on average weighs 4lbs.

Thanks

Default Fish Weight Vs Length

Here's another site that estimates the fishes weight as a function of the length. You will note that the weights in this table differs from the weights shown in Jim's table.

the average weight of a bass can be determined by:

weight = length x girth x girth

or length times girth squared.

Largemouth bass use; L X L X G / 1200 = weight in lbs.
L = length measured with mouth closed to center of the fork in tail. G = girth measured widest area around the bass with the dorsal fin down.
Don't know the girth; use 75% of the length for average body bass, 80% for heavy body northern strain bass and 90% of the length for Florida strian bass transplanted out side of Florida; California or Texas.
