Default switching back to power pro

after a whole season of using cajun red cast i have decided to switch back to power pro.the only time i will use cajun red cast is as a dropshot leader.it's not that it's not a good line.as a matter of fact it's still the best mono i have ever used.it's just that i miss the sensitvity you get with the power pro.i started this saying it would be a 1 year trial and now i have made my decision.i still recommend red cast for those of you who don't like braid or flouro and are looking for a really nice mono line.

I'll just add, I LOVE EVERYTHING about power pro, even the green die you get on your fingers from a new spool being in the water the first time. So sensitive, THIN DIAMETER=greater casting distances), crank baits run deeper, and boy is it some strong stuff.

Try Tuf-Line XP or P-Line spectrex IV braids. They are also very good braided lines. P N J

Love power pro but the tuf line has proven to be a formiddable competitor also. Have a 50/50 going now- 4 with power pro, 4 with tuf line. So far they both have performed well.

stealth is to thick for my taste the large diamater cuts down on capacity on most baitcasters..-sorry sam tryed it don't like it..

calcutta ultra is the braid of choice for me the stuff kicks. will be tryin the calcutta fresh water formula.i think it is mono 12 pound test .014 diamater feels a lot like the old silver thread extra limp..
