Denny, I got one as a early Christmas gift last thursday.I can't wait til spring to try it out.I got the black frog, Midnight walker is the color name.I don't know if it will work , but thats what I bought. This frog is heavier than any other frog I have bought so far and its got a smaller size profile than most of the other frogs on the market. The belly is designed so it will rock easily on the water to swim like a frog.In short, I wish it were out before I started buying the other frogs, I would not have bought the other frogs after looking at the design, this frog should work in open water around docks and structure as well as the slop.I hope it helps, P N J

The dean rojas frog is AWESOME. GOT IT They are on the same design somewhat as the tournament series scum frog. What I like about them so much is the way they ride in the water. Nose up slightly so you can really work them well in weedy, woody cover with out bringing in a salad. The hooking ability of the bronze frog is better than the scum frog.

Looks similiar to what I used to throw, but about 3 times the price...
We use to sink live night crawlers in the body of frogs years ago when I was learning bassfishing, mostly for added weight and maybe some crawler scent for ol' lunker lips..
I've learned better since those days tho..
