I'd throw a Carolina rig, a lipped crankbait, or a lipless crankbait. The C-rig will stir up a mud trail like a crawfish and the rattling baits will be easier for the fish to find.

This guy has cought 1 fish on a lizard and tells you to use them! LOL

The best bait for that situation is gonna be a chartuse spinnerbait w/ gold blades.

TM, caught more than 1 today on it, caught 3 or so, all nice, but the one was nicer. I really am diggin the lizard thing right now. But, I woudl search the water using a spinnerbait or a crank. Hell, I would even throw a buzzbait, and see what happens. Search first, then go back slowly

Good idea Be sure and use a tralier hook and a good MH rod in case you hook into a good fish. Just try and cover as much water as possible. Use differnt speed retrives till you find the one that works best.

my favorite retrieve for a spinnerbait, is to burn just under the surface, it creates alot of disturbance and Is just as exciting to see them blow up on it!

C-Rigs are best in deeper water as a search bait off points and such
