Default Good LUCK BASSERS!

And WERE OFF!!!!

Have a great season anglers and good fortune to ALL!

Now just an idea.
I'm thinking a 4lb Bass is a big fish. Maybe not a contest winner but GREAT to see!

So I'm thinking as opposed to just sharing 'contenders' we should share pics of anything 4lbs. and over.
Good picture taking practice for lone fisherman and probably the Kayakers too.

I WANT TO SEE FISH!

So talk it over and you anglers decide.

I had a dream last night that I was out fishing and simply could not decide which plastic worm to use. I think cabin fever is getting the best of me! I type this while watching snow drift past my window again this morning. I hope in 2 weeks, winter will be about done! In fact, as I walked past my boat next to the garage, she kinda nudged me and whimpered. I think we both need to get back out on the water!

You call them dreams.
I call them NIGHTMARES!!!

This is the FIRST time in THREE years the weather stopped me from fishing the last two days of open season.

But it's 21 degrees out now and FULL sun.
So don't count me out yet!
Give me 42, small or no wind, no clouds and................I'LL GET OUT TO CLOSE THE SEASON RIGHT.

Good luck with gettin' out to close the season right, Joe. Season is already closed here, plus we have a winter weather advisory here starting tomorrow evening...possible 6+ inches of snow depending on the track of the storm.

This weekend it's unseasonably cold here, with high temps that will barely get above freezing. So I'm counting on having some decent weather this week; so that I can get the boat ready for next weekend. I'm ready for Winter to be over.

I took a drive out to the lake and was suprised to see enough open water on the north side that I might go make a few casts from shore tomorrow. Not many casts as the lake is still about 90% covered in ice. Considering that the temps have been largely below freezing, it's hard to understand the open water, but I'll take it!

So when I posted earlier the weather for the week ahead was forecasted to be below normal but that's about it.
10:00 news.....10-12 inches of snow, Monday and Tues. but I'm supposed check back Sunday they say,....because it may change to NO snow?

What the HE11?

If they have NO IDEA just say, "I HAVE NO IDEA" what the weather is going to be.
I swear, EVERY SINGLE snowfall this year they prodicted a 'blizzard'.
Come on guys, folks are going to watch the news daily anyway. No need to exagerate every single time it gets 'cloudy'.

Think I'll buy my license today. Had an inch of snow last night. I don't want to start till it's at least in the 60's. So far this year we've only had 2 days without some type of snow/sleet/ice/rain. With all that stuff I hope the lakes come up to normal pool.

I did get out last sunday for about an hours casting. Feels wrong to be standing in snow and casting. haha About 70% of the lake is still frozen over but it felt food to feel that line spin benieth my thumb again. I took some pics, but will have to post them later. Using my sons laptop as the mother board in my comp went out and it's back in the shop again.
