Default The ol jig and eel?

Whatever happened the "Jig and eel" technique? When I was younger I used to have an old Roland Martin book calk full of info! One thing I found interesting, and had never head of, is the jig and eel technique.

It's essentially the same as a jig n pig, but rather than having a compact crawdad lookin trailer, a longer eel looking trailer is used. Either a big long thing of pork, or a plastic worm, say a jelly worm for example.

Does ANYONE still use or remember this technique?

I remember it, too. Never really fished it but was aware of it.

I remember it too, but can't say I have ever used it. Might need to try it though. That may be something the current crop of bass have never seen before.
