Default Baby Paca's

I went into one of my local tackle shops the other day and what do i find? Thats right, Baby Paca Craws. I have been trying to find these all around here and couldn;t find them anywhere, even tried here a couple of times. Chris said they started carrying them a couple of weeks ago. I am very happy about this. (threw one out this morning and caught a 1lber.) My question is this: What is the best way(s) to rig them? I just Texas rigged it with a split-shot right above the hook( i didn't have any bullet weights).

If I fish craw baits, I usually use an offset shank round bend hook. I hate how the EWG hook usually cause the bait to fall on its side and so I like to have a thinner profile.

Rig em texas style, tail first..same as any other time.

Yep, that's how it rig em, on Onwer 2 or 3 ought offset hooks. 1/4 ounce bullet weight.

I'm going to experiment with trying to stuff some scent soaked cotton in to the opening in the front too....

Pegged that is Unlike my brother bassers, I only use a 4/0 EWG Gammy, and texpose it. When fishing for fun, and around a lot of bowfin/gar, I will use some Eagle Lazer EWG's just to save my Gammy's for when it counts.

One of our great sponsors, who sells them. That way there's no gas being wasted to get what you want. Call up Larry, he's a great guy.
