I got mine at a local shop out here. From what i can see there might not be that much difference between them and the knock offs.

I T-rig them but when they tear up, I save them and use them as a jig trailer if they're not torn too badly.

I use em on a C-Rig. I went to Hyco last weekend and caught 6 on a C-Rig with a Sweet Beaver in the spring break or the delicious color

Bama ,here's the link to their page

Net Baits is coming out with a new creature bait this year. I can't wait to see that.

I've fished the dark colored ones at night and throw them in open water weed beds. We've had some success with them.

99% of the time I tex-rig my Ugly Otters. Bullet weight varies between 14-1/2 oz. The other 1/% of the time it's Te-rigged with a 3/4 oz weight.

Just purchased some knock offs from Barlows. Great anis oil scent...close your eyes and you'd think you were smelling a paca.

Good bait for skipping under docks. I use them around wood, or rock banks. They are real good over matted grass, when you can drop them into holes. Good, multi-use bait.

Here's a picture of two Ugly Otters. They're similar to a Sweet Beaver, but the tail is rounder and it has two arms, which makes for more vibration.

I like to pitch these Otters into weed holes, laydowns, etc where their compact proportions will get the job done. Along weed lines, rock walls, flats, I'm planning this year to pitch or cast a T-rigged Strike King Space Monkey.
