Either you're new to Bass fishing or you live in a cave LOL. The Jitterbug has been producing Bass for longer than I've been around I think, and that's a long time. It is however a Fantastic Bait, especially in Black, at night.

My favorite is the ones the BASS tell me they want. Also I havent seen anyone refer to a bait in this manner. Almost all baits have there time and place but if you have no confidence in the bait it aint gonna work for ya. Alot of people dont use certain lures or certain techiques cause of lack of confidence. GIVE THEM A CHANCE. It will make you a better more well adversed angler if you give it a chance.

dang cave fishing -some thing i may have to try-

i like the chug bug's and a torpeedo or a devilhorse. i do have a few jitterbugs and as thin lizzy pointed out they have been a round for a hundred years or so -almost as long as he has been..

Jitterbug is certainly my favorite topwater. I think it's been around for about 75 years, almost as long as I've been around.

Have yall seen those deer in Academy Sports that when you walk by them they start talking and singging. Its a life size mount and It started singing Sweet Home Alabama the other day. Even better than the Billy Bass. My favorite topwater is by far the Zara Spook. I also love using the Chug Bug and a Tiny Torpedo.............

You just reel it in real slow so it makes the bubbling action with its billl. or you can use a stop and go retreive. Very effective.
