Default Keelguard

My Keelguard is coming loose. Is there as glue or some type of adhesive which will prevent this ?

Keelguards are for fiberglass boats right? Do they make them for aluminum or is it pointless?

I'd say you must use a good cleaner for the boat before ya stick a guard on, theres a 3M adhesive on the backside of guard, easily found on the internet for the do-it-yerselfer...

Zook,
Any idea what they would run for a 16ft 3 in Bass Boat?

JB,
Went by the instructions. Sand, apply cleaning solution and then apply main item. No problems getting the area clean.
On the tape it showed the guy putting this Keelguard on a boat that was above his head. Give me a break, it was a new boat as well.
Mine is on the trailer and when off the water thats where it'll stay. (I hope)

Zook, thanks for the info. May have to remove the entire item and get a new one or fasten the old one back on with "new" glue.
