Mariner,

Since you are here in Georgia, you might look at the GON forums, there are quite a few guys on there trying to sell bass boats.

Mariner

May I ask has your dad had any dealings with boats powered by V6 outboards?? Reason I am asking is alot of folks start out with smaller baots to get familiar with boat handling and what to do in extreme instances. Todays 150's aint what they use to be. Your talking about rigs that will run in excess of 60mph and things happen real fast. Only reason I am prying is I harp on saftey. YES those of you that know me well know I aint happy unless I am trying to set the water on fire BUT I do it with ALL the correct saftey equipment and I have been boating since they invented the wheel.
If your dad is willing to come a couple of states over for the right deal there are sopme GREAT buys around here locally. Let me know if you have a preference to engine make and boat make and I will dig around. For instance I know of a Sprint that has an XR6 on it for $6500. Its loaded to the gills with just about every option I would want and then some. Its a 2000 model.
