Default Shimano Symetre 4000FI

Selling Shimano Symetre 4000FI, very little use. Its just too big for me. I'm trying to sell it for $50.00 and $5.00 for shipping. It comes in the box with all the paper work, extra spool and adjustment washers. I can send pictures of the reel if anyone is interested.

Is $40.00 and $5.00 shipping a fair offer? If so, you got yourself a buyer.

I'll do 50 bucks total. Well, how much does that reel weigh?

Dang, I'm too late. It would be over kill for bassin' but perfect for my salmon and steelhead fishin'. Glad you sold it.

Cranky,

What's up, 'lil bud?! If you want a spinning reel for bassin, a 2500 (approx 140 yds of 10#) size spool is as high as I'd be willing to go, with a 2000 (approx 120 yrd of 6# and the same thing as a size 20) being ideal. Any bigger and the reel will be VERY heavy for bass purposes and hold too much line.

If something is going to be 13+ oz, it had better be a porter house steak!

Yeah. I made that mistake with my shimano stradic, its a 5000... 13.9 oz or so. I've been looking into new reels, because my stradic is too big and thecardinal is wearing down.
